Jason: 2011 Senior Rep – Lehman High School | Austin Senior Portrait Photographer

Jason is the first of my Senior Reps to hit the blog for the Senior Class of 2011.  I’ve been photographing Jason’s family for several years and he’s a great guy.  I know he’s excited about his Senior year at Lehman High School, he has a lot on his plate as Captain of the Cheerleading squad.  His Senior Rep application cracked me up and I knew right away I wanted him to represent Life in Motion Photography!  This was the first installment of his Senior portraits that will happen throughout the year and we hit downtown Austin.  Just a few faves and then a little mini slideshow:

I am still looking for TWO NORTH SENIOR REPS, one boy and one girl.  If you are looking to take your Senior portraits this summer or early fall, contact me soon as spaces will fill up quickly!  Oh, and if you know Jason, hit him up for a Rep Card for a special offer!!  I have an entire new product line and packages with some really cool stuff especially for Seniors!

Class of 2011 | Austin Senior Photographer

I met up with the first of my Class of 2011 Senior Reps this afternoon.  Jason is a great kid, I’ve photographed his family several times and I know he’s excited about his Senior year!  I’m thrilled to have him as one of my Reps to promote Life in Motion Photography.  We got some fun shots today.  Jason is Captain of the cheerleading squad so we started out at the football field for a few stunts.  He brought the gorgeous Michelle along….

Those stunt/cheer shots are coming soon, but I just had to post one of Michelle, so pretty and she totally rocked it today.  Then we went downtown for a few urban shots…..

I gotta tell ya, I think I am going to LOVE shooting seniors and I’m so glad I decided to dive in!

Thank you Jason (and Michelle too!).  I’ll have a lot more and some really cool products for you very soon!

**A quick note to those who have applied to be a Life in Motion Photography Senior Rep this year, all applicants will be notified no later than Wednesday of this week if you have been selected, please hang in there with me a bit longer!  Thanks!!**

what day is it again? | austin family photographer

1.  Tomorrow is Ty’s last day of elementary school ever.  Yesterday we went to his end of 5th grade award ceremony and it was bittersweet.  He got 5 awards including being voted as a “promise keeper” by his peers.  The little kids and I went and had lunch with him before the awards and I got to meet Ty’s girlfriend.  I was pleasantly surprised when she walked right up to the lunch table, put her hand out to shake mine and introduced herself.  She sat across from me and we chatted, super sweet kid.  I am still not ready for this phase to begin, but I like her more than I thought I would.  I certainly didn’t have that confidence, I was scared to death the first time I met my first boyfriends parents.  Like, want to crawl into my own skin or run away and hide, kind of scared.  I was 14, but I was also pretty shy.

2.  Ty’s birthday is this weekend.  I will have a TWELVE year old.  Huh.  Really?  Wow.  The last year before the word “teen” gets affixed to everything age related until he’s twenty.

3.  The little ones and I are heading out to buy lots of party stuff for this weekend.  Taryn’s mission is party hats.  I’m pretty sure Teagan is just in it for the cake.  Me, I’m just in denial about being old enough to have a twelve year old.

4.  Are y’all ready for a baby boom around here?  I’m on call for not one, not two, but three births right now.  We’re gonna have babies babies everywhere and I cannot wait!

5.  When we were at Ty’s school yesterday, we walked past the kindergartners and I was shocked to see that Taryn is taller than 90% of them.  There they were, carrying their little lunch trays, standing in a line, opening their own milks, doing the whole experienced kindergartner thing and they were all littler than my girl.  She’ll be there before we know it.  I think I’m just feeling exceptionally old this week.

6.  I’ve been getting a ton of proofing done this week too.  Love this one…

7.  and this one…

9.  gotta love this one too….

10.  Hey look, I made it to 10 and its not even Tuesday!

another fabulous set of 3 | austin family photographer

I last saw them at Christmas and they are all just as adorable as ever (and all 3 look way taller too!).  They are seriously the most polite, well mannered and loving kids.  Did I mention beautiful too?

So happy to have caught that one.  As a momma of 3, I know how hard it is to catch all 3 in one photo annnnnd looking happy!  Score!!

I had a reeeealllly hard time picking photos for your sneak peek.  I know she looks all hip and girlie here, but the reality is she took a quick pause from digging in the pile of dirt in front of her to look up at me, ha!

love this….

Last shot of the day.  Believe it or not, this is the same field where a massive amount of bluebonnets once lived.  It just keeps giving and giving.

Thanks for making the long drive out you guys!  As always, it was a pleasure to hang out with you for awhile!

((I have a lot of thoughts and appreciation for the post below but I will come back and share them another time.  Just wanted to say thank you until then!))
