I am so excited to come share this.  Several months ago I was asked to do a photo display at the new offices of Austin Area OBGYN at North Austin Medical Center.  After months of planning, measuring, design, having them select the images (I wanted them to choose since they have to look at them all day, every day), and then printing, the first round is finally going up.  Jase stopped by there this morning to hang the first 3 (of 20+) and snapped a few iphone pics.  The first one is the shot of Teagan and Jase for their blood pressure station (would that lower your bp??).  The second shot of Calla is over one of the nurses […]

1.  I am pacing our house right now waiting for ty to get home and tell me all about his day with MICHAEL PHELPS.  Yes, you read that right!  Crazy huh?!?  Ty was one of a handful of kids that were chosen to meet the olympic champion.  How freaking cool is that?!?!  I SO wanted to go and bring my camera, but they said no.  Something about a media release agreement or something or other.  Blah, Blah, Blah, Boo….Ty was psyched and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

2.  Little T is on her way back.  It’s been a tough road, and she’s not there yet.  But she will be soon.  We’re all pretty happy about that.

3.  Do you […]

Image boxes are hands down my favorite product.  When they land on my door step I run to tear open the package because I just can’t wait to have it in my hands and ohhhhh and ahhhhh over it.  They are substantial and sturdy and just oh so gorgeous.  I’ve been doing these for my birth clients this year and I’ve been meaning to come share some photos for awhile.  Image boxes are custom designed for each birth client and can include the birth date, birth stats, name as well as customizable text down the spine.  And if the gorgeous box wasn’t enough, when you open it up, all the birth proofs sit perfectly inside, complete with a ribbon for […]

1.  I celebrated my 34th birthday yesterday.  It was a nice day, relaxed with my family, got a ton of wonderful birthday wishes, phone calls from loved ones, fun birthday mail and a nice dinner out with my favorite people in the world.  Oh, and even a few new toys for my camera!  All in all, a good day.

2.  When i asked Taryn how old she thought I was, I about fell over when she said “FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN”.  Wow, I knew it was a loaded question but sheesh!

3.  My mom’s birthday is tomorrow, Happy Birthday Eve Mom!!!

4.  I think the most awesome of all the gifts I received was from Taryn.  She drew me a great big picture […]

Over the course of the next month I will be adding new products and specialty items available to Life in Motion Photography clients.  I am really excited about the items I’ve gathered so far and thought I’d come share just this one today.  I was over checking out Kim’s blog not too long ago and saw these cute custom wall letters.  Thanks Kim for letting me share your idea with my clients!  The possibilities are endless, I can edit the colors, fonts, text, etc.  I love first names, but using your last name or spelling out “family” or “love” or “brothers”…..there are just so many options!

I ordered these as samples this morning and will share photos of them when […]

new product! and a sale! | austin texas photographer

Ok, well, not really a new product, because I already sell storyboards, but a new way to display them!  I’ve always mounted storyboards on foam core, but wow, look at this…..

I LOVE this!  It is substantial, heavy, ready to hang and GORGEOUS.  I want to fill my house with them!  It’s always been a challenge to frame a storyboard, the frame choices for a 10×20 or 12×12 are out there, but they are limited.  These gallery mounts eliminate the need for a frame and they come in several different finishes around the beveled edge.  As shown above, you can do a creative crop on just one image to really make […]
