I was gonna do this yesterday but got a little distracted by a little thing like winning a trip to Jamaica!! Yeah baby! Thank you all for your comments, yesterday was a complete blast!! 1. Ty now 100% truly and honestly believes he is famous. But, he was not happy I taped him on the sly and bargained for use of it here on the blog. He could have asked for much more on his side of the bargain, I got what I wanted pretty easy. I think his reaction was priceless. WE WON! And we are THRILLED!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all who voted!! I’m so proud of Ty, award winning at the age of 10!! He rocks! You can see the announcement here. Check out the sidebar….I added a few new things. First, I finally got some of Ty’s photos together in an album and all in one place. He’s super, chest swelling, proud over it, so check it out! I also added an album for all the old banners that have appeared here on the blog (thanks for the great idea Erin!!). There are a few ooooooooold ones in there all the way back to my first blog before we moved over here. I’m back!! My computer is lit up! It’s not 100%, it’s going to take awhile to get things running smoothly again, but I managed to get photoshop going. To celebrate, I decided to ask Ty to take a few shots of the belly today. He was totally psyched to use the 5D. He did really good and even caught a few of Taryn coming over to yell at my belly "HEAD DOWN BOY, HEAD DOWN!" And he is head down! After a horribly uncomfortable night last night, he managed to flip over. I knew he was trying at around 11:30 pm. It was a technical challenge, a room with no windows and two small lights on a dimmer with the occasional spotlight during delivery and in the baby warmer. I used my speedlight for a few, but tried not to, as it just wasn’t catching the feel of the moment, it was quiet and dark and I hope these images capture that.

I think he rocked it yesterday. What do you guys think? the sign on the old soda shop, an institution in slidell, but katrina destroyed it. the building and this sign are about all that’s left…so sad katrina grafiti ty spotted a 20 foot old fish statue in bayou liberty. it was huge, i have no idea what it’s for, but thought the texture looked pretty cool on this one. I think this is my favorite from the day, Old Town Slidell. I spotted this old car when we were leaving the neighborhood. The owners happened to be outside so we stopped and asked if we could photograph it. I think they thought we were nuts. He shot these in […]
