Follow along as we step back in time and explore Mackinac Island with no motorized vehicles. Situated just off shore from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace, Michigan, Mackinac Island is a must see. Horse drawn buggy taxi rides and rental bikes are the only transportation options! We got lucky and landed on the island during the annual Lilac Festival. The cutest parade in the cutest little island town ever! And we try not to focus on our kids wrestling at The Grand Hotel!
This marks the second time that we have gone through the process of weighing our RV. As we pull towards the Cat Scale, Lyndsay looks over and says, “Hey, you wanna make a bet?” Follow along as we go through the process of weighing to see if our our RV is overweight….and who wins the bet!
The website we used in the video to determine the correct weight numbers is Towing Planner.
One of the best things about traveling fulltime is getting to connect with family we otherwise wouldn’t get to see. Jason’s dad grew up in Indiana and his uncle lives in Michigan. We were lucky enough to see Uncle Mark, Aunt Becky, their 3 kids and their families while in Troy. We even snuck in a little mini session for his cousin Erin and her gorgeous family while having a bbq one evening. We’d hoped to make it a full family session with a pretty location but our time in the area was cut short due to work and a horrible campground. I’m so glad we did, it’s fun to get people we love in front of my camera! Could they be any cuter?! Just a quick sneak peek, I think we still ended up with a full session worth of photos taken in her parents backyard!
Follow along as we spend an afternoon at Fort Macon, Georgia, exploring the beach, a great visitor center and the fort itself. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned in to an awesome 1/2 day adventure!
Follow along as we try to escape the cold by heading to Orlando, Florida. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to check in at the Thousand Trails Orlando location? Don’t arrive before 12 pm – they will turn you away. It’s quite the process compared to other parks in the system. While we ended up staying for 3 weeks, it wasn’t our typical Florida stay.
Follow along as we share our highlights from life on the road in 2018!
