1.  All our kids woke up at 6 am this morning.  Two, and I’ll let you guess which two, were screaming.  By 8 am, Teagan announced “Momma!!!!!  I so grouchy”  LOL!!!  It sounded so funny coming out of his mouth!  But he was right on, it was true!

2.  I love the way Taryn says “armadillo”…..”arm-a-jello”.  We try and work it into family conversation daily.  No easy task, try it sometime.  Totally worth it around here.

3.  We’re having our family photos taken this weekend coming and I haven’t even given a first thought to what we are going to wear.  If I were to stop and think about it, I would totally panic!!!  Anyone want to dress us???

It’s a bit crazy around here.  3 crazy kids and running a photography business during the busiest time of the year can be pretty overwhelming.  All of you photographers out there know what I mean and are whispering ‘amen’ under your breath right?  Every year, it never fails, you pull a bunch of all nighters, live off of coffee and mountain dew (I’m looking at your Jodie), plant your kids in front of the tv a little more than usual, call on family and friends to help you just make it through.  Meanwhile, your husband is just hoping and praying that someday, eventually, his wife will pull herself out of the mess and pile of work and re-emerge again in […]

I am so thrilled and proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Life in Motion Photography Little Monsters Bash was a HUGE success.  It was a wonderful party with TONS of cuties running around in their costumes.  Thank you to everyone who came, donated, partied, brought food, shuffled kiddos, etc.!  Thanks to each one of you we raised $1,700!!!! Seventeen hundred!!  In just a few hours on a Saturday morning.  That’s HUGE.  Every single penny is being donated to aid in cancer research at MD Anderson Hospital in the name of Jon Urban.  Jon is the husband of my dear friend and mentee MC, and we just couldn’t think of a better cause to donate funds to this year.  If […]

Benefit supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

2008-10-26T21:30:31-05:00October 26th, 2008|Client Work|

My friend and mentee MC is participating in Team in Training and we came up with a fun and easy way to raise some money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a very worthy cause. Cancer touched our family this year, Jason’s dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The word cancer is scary, and when it finds it’s way into your family, it changes things in an instant. We’re so lucky and thankful that Jason’s dad was able to beat it, is healthy and strong today, without facing chemo.  There are so many people out there fighting cancer, and every single penny counts.

As a way to help raise money, MC hosted a halloween costume […]
