I met MC not long after moving to Austin.  We quickly became friends and I began to mentor her and help her with her photography journey.  And by mentor, I mean hang out and goof off with our cameras.  But there hasn’t been very much mentoring going on.  Life is busy, especially at their house.  Not long after this session, MC and Jon announced they were expecting baby #2, thrilling news!  Just a few short weeks later Jon was diagnosed with cancer.  They are a strong and faithful family and after a few days of shock and tears, came out swingin ready to fight.  They rolled with what the coming days would bring them, dealing with chemo, a surgery […]

Everything went just right.  Every detail fell into place.  From his timely arrival so that his daddy could be there, to MC keeping her blood pressure in check for weeks against the odds, to deciding when it was time to head in to labor and delivery, and me rushing to pick up Jon and speeding both of us to the […]

I’ll be out of pocket today photographing a birth.  Clients if you need to reach me please either drop me an email or leave me a voicemail and I’ll get back to you just as soon as I can.

If anyone was keeping track in the comments below, MC graciously accepted Alli’s offer of victory and then proceeded to go into hard labor.  Love it!  And I’m so thankful I get to be here with them today…..
