Follow along as we begin to explore the Michigan Upper Peninsula. We stumbled upon a great sculpture park in Marquette called Lakenenland. We weren’t sure what to expect but this Junkyard Art was a very unique stop!
The North Carolina Museum Natural Sciences in Raleigh, North Carolina is not only the best museum we have been to so far, it is also FREE! This place was a road school win! We met up with some long time friends, who just happen to be launching in to full time family life in just a few days! We are so excited for them!! We’d link them but they aren’t on YouTube.
Follow along as we spend an afternoon at Fort Macon, Georgia, exploring the beach, a great visitor center and the fort itself. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned in to an awesome 1/2 day adventure!
We make a quick detour to Jacksonville, Florida to see family! At the suggestion of some of our followers we stayed at the Kathryn Abbey Hannah Park Campground and it was pretty great. It had just rained before we got there so the ground was wet and muddy but we really loved how each spot was nestled within the trees and palms. The campground is also close to the beach so we made a short drive to check it out and let the kids run through the Atlantic waters for the first time in over a year. The best part was definitely reconnecting with family. We had a little cookout over the fire and then roasted up some marshmallows and s’mores. Perfect way to end the day! We can’t wait to go back to Hannah Park again.
Follow along as we share our highlights from life on the road in 2018!
Our time in Austin was mostly about work and emptying our storage unit but we did sneak out one afternoon of fun! Jonah and I ventured out to The Fomo Factory to celebrate his 6th birthday with some fun photos.
