Messy – but oh so much fun!
And I can’t believe I forgot to post this, but guess what!?! Taryn finally said her name!!!!! Yuhesss! We were all sitting on the couch watching the Survivor finale on Sunday and Taryn stood on the couch next to my mom, pointed to her larger than life canvas and said “Darrr in”. I was so excited I started to clap and cheer. I’m the only one that heard it though, everyone else was engrossed in the show! She said it last night again at bedtime while I was rocking her…..poor Jase, he’s dying to hear it and just hasn’t caught the moment yet. The child has an amazing vocabulary and speaks in complete sentences, but has refused to say her name, out of what we believe to be pure stubbornness. She’s been calling herself “T” or “peanut”. If you ask her to say Taryn she would scowl at you and say “NO”. Little stinker.
Awww .. how exciting .. I can’t wait for Cameron to say his name – could be a while though .. it’s a harder name to pronouce!! 🙂
I need to do the lollipop think as well !!
