I first met Trent & Amanda 18 months ago when they had me photograph Annslee’s birth. I was honored to be asked to photograph the birth of their second daughter as well. One of the first things Amanda mentioned to me today is that when other people talk to her about forgetting parts of your birth that she hasn’t had that experience because she has the photos from her first birth to help her remember and bring her right back to that day. Hearing that made my heart sing, that’s why I love birth photography….the images don’t fade even when our memory does. There were so many beautiful moments tucked in to this day. Just two of my favorites include the first image above of sweet Annslee drinking her milk, snuggling with her momma and her soon to be born baby sister, and the last image, this moment was so beautiful we all just soaked it in. I totally cried as we watched Annslee climb up, lay her head on her Momma’s chest and snuggle with her new baby sister. Sweetest.thing.ever. Congratulations on your new daughter you guys, she’s just perfect!
[[ I am presently booking births for 2012 and have quite a few openings. If you’d like to have your birth photographed please contact me at lstradtner@mac.com. I have a new and improved birth package as well as several new payment plan options. ]]
Amazing. Love them all. She’s a beautiful baby! (Tried to photograph my first birth a few weeks ago but the baby was born 12 minutes after I got the call–dad caught the baby at home! Got some great first few moments shots though.)
