but yesterday I tried my hand at girl / bear photography.  Stephanie has a gorgeous daughter Hannah who has a much loved (and much photographed) Mr. Bear.  I thought of them a lot yesterday when we decided to go out for a long walk and Taryn decided to take her Mr. Bear along.  Our long walk, turned into a really, really long walk.  Teagan slept through it all and T and I just enjoyed being outside, walking along, talking about all the things we saw along the way.  We pretty much live out in the sticks and I realized I don’t use our surroundings to photograph the children very much.  We stopped a few times along the way for a few shots even though I was fighting full sun and lots of wind…

There are wild flowers everywhere in the field around the corner from our house (Mr. Bear decided to keep Teagan company in the stroller for these).

I blew out her shirt on this one, but I just love it with a little bit of Lily Blue’s honey action on it, so here it is πŸ™‚

I was excited to see a few bluebonnets, but not enough to really do much will photograph wise.  Well, there were just enough to play a spontaneous game of ring-around-the-rosie, but that was about it.

Our walk took us all the way down to the first entrance of our neighborhood where they have this cool rock under a huge oak tree.  The perfect spot to give your Mr. Bear a good talkin’ to apparently πŸ˜‰

Then it was off to the neighborhood park…this was all her idea…

He didn’t hold on very good…

The kiddie swings were a much safer option πŸ™‚

Steph, I think you’re onto something, bear photography was lots of fun!
