jason is one of the funniest people i have ever met. when other people meet him, he reserved, quiet and it can take him some time to warm up and really let others see his sense of humor. i’m so thankful i’m am subjected to it daily……
one time when taryn was around 6 or 7 months old, jase was playing around and decided to attach one of her toys to his head to make her laugh. it was a giraffe and was hollow with a whole in the bottom, easy enough to suction onto your forehead. he was dubbed hickey boy for awhile and took a lot of grief over it….admitedly, most of it came from me. uhm, can you blame me….smack dab in the middle of his forehead. it looked like a 3rd eye!
so tonight, he was playing around with the kids on the floor and at one point i look over and see him putting one of taryn’s snap doll hats on his head, the kids are laughing, etc. he says “look i’ve got a mole on my head….haha….der der….haha”
a few hours later, i’m doing the dishes, jase walks by and i busted out laughing so hard i couldn’t even talk. he immediately ran to the bathroom in panic. i haven’t laughed so hard in a really long time. uncontrollable, belly splitting, try not to pee in my pants laughing. hickey boy is back and he’s better than ever!
oh man he cracks me up…..he’s been coming up with excuses he can give people….his son threw a ball at his head, or his personal favorite at the moment ‘my wife has big lips’. nice. everytime he walks by me i crack up. forget about having a serious conversation, just can’t do it. i keep having that line from austin powers come in to my head “wholey moley quacamole”. when i asked him what on earth possesses him to suction toys to his head, he said ’cause it’s fun’. so there you have it.
Good blogging material…..keepin it real!
hahahahahah – oh my thank you for the laugh this morning! Please let Jason know thanks for being a good sport. 🙂
Funny! My dad and uncle put suction cup like toys on their eyes when they were younger and then panicked because they couldn’t get them off.
Oh my gosh! You cannot make this stuff up!
love it. i agree with michele, keeping it real!
That’s hilarious! Your kids are so lucky to have such a fun daddy!
i think i just pee’d my pants too!
I love his reasoning! There are advantages to being bald…
That is too freaking hysterical!!!! Hahahaha…silly man!
