I would like to introduce you to Lucy. I had the incredible honor to witness and document her birth on Tuesday. I look at this image and I just marvel at the miracle of life, how precious it is, how fragile it is, and how in one moment, everything changes, your heart fills up in spaces you never knew existed. I feel so lucky to do what I do. To have captured this moment for her, for her parents, for their amazing doctor. The smile in his eyes says it all. He loves his job, he loves this moment. I look at this image and it reminds me how much I love mine too.
Lucy is welcomed by two big ((and very excited)) big brothers. Congratulations K family, thank you again for inviting me to be a part of Lucy’s birth. I can’t wait to show you the rest of the images!!

This will or should win some award! Simply Stunning. This defines the ART of photography to me – documenting, telling a story, an emotion and much more in 1/100th of a second! It takes a fine artist to do that! I congratulate you.
Your photos are so amazing. I am always in awe of the shots you capture. We use to live in Seguin, TX (SE of Austin 45 mins away) and if I had known about you then, I would have hired you to take pictures of my family! We now live in North Carolina. We are going to be in Texas in May for a wedding. Maybe I can set up something then! I’d LOVE to have do a photo shoot with us!

Joy summed this up well. I can not think of a more moving photo. Maybe it’s because I’m a Mother myself but I honestly said “WOW” out loud by myself when viewing this. It really does capture an incredible moment in time. Makes me sad that I don’t have an image of my own like this. You’re a wonderful talent.
