Oh, yes, adding, dividing. and multiplying fractions along with long multiplication and division….it sucks, I still have nightmares!!

Me too! Especially teaching algebraic expressions to 5th graders. Do they seriously NEED to know about variables in 5th grade? I think not.
I am in a 5th grade classroom this year. First time in 30+ years I almost understand what’s going on!
LOL! Mine are still in daycare….oh the things to look forward to! 🙂
uh, yeah…during the 30 minutes I work the extended day program at school I send the 5th grade math questions to our high school student workers 😉 totally understand your confession.
