Fall mini sessions are my fave.  It’s so great to catch up with a few of my favorite families that I’ve photographed for years and a few new ones!

Speaking of little boys who absolutely love the camera, little M definitely does!  Oh my goodness, so much personality that it makes my job a blast!  And did I mention he has some mad dancing skills as well?!  Super impressed!  Just wait until you see the sweetest photos of him holding his baby brother, be ready to swoon!

The light this evening was glorious, but it paled in comparison to how much love these four have for each other.  Little Owen is so lucky to join this family.  I’ll come share his newborn session soon.

I cried like a big baby when they told me about this pregnancy.  I didn’t just cry, I ugly cried.  It was not pretty lol!  I can’t imagine being any happier for a family with such wonderful news.  It’s been a journey to get this little one here and I absolutely cannot wait until the birth!  And every milestone after that.  I can already see so many wonderful photographs with Ethan, who, by the way, is going to be the best big brother EVER!

I am so excited to be starting another journey and baby plan with one of my favorite families!  This sweet baby boy is going to be very well photographed!!

I love it when I can say “Hey, meet me at The Mean Eyed Cat bar” and my clients are totally on board.  Such a fun location and this momma to be was glowing!

If you found me on google, we have this guy to thank for that!  Cory does all of the SEO work for Life in Motion and started working with IAPBP this year as well.  He’s a huge reason we’ve reached so many people on both websites and I’m truly thankful for that.  I’ve been photographing them since Ethan was around 6 months old.  Hard to believe it’s been that long.  Our sessions are always fun and relaxed….but this one was extra special….

Near the end of our session, Amy flashed me with profile of her sweet little bump.  Y’all.  I cried.  No, I didn’t just cry, I ugly cried.  I am SO happy for them.  It’s been a long road to get this sweet baby here and I’m so very thrilled for them.  It took me a few minutes to stop my ugly cry long enough to finish the session!  It’s a good thing they didn’t tell me at the beginning of the session because I was a mess!  I just adore them and Ethan is going to be the best big brother ever, I can already see all the photos in my head!  I’m so happy for them and I’m so excited to capture their new baby from maternity session, the birth and many sessions beyond!!  Be ready to be inundated with photos of their family!  It’s happening!!  I’m going to cry my way through the birth, I just know it….

After several weeks off due to a foot injury I ventured out for a session tonight in my super cool moon boot. I’m so excited for Amy, Cory & Ethan. This baby is already so loved and I warned them tonight I am going to cry at the birth. I cried when they told me she’s pregnant…so yeah….crying at the birth is going to happen! And I get to photograph the first year. I couldn’t be happier for them and oh my gosh, isn’t she just gorgeous pregnant?!

I love how when they look at one another, they both just light up.

There are so many exciting changes happening in this family, I’m so happy they took a quick pause to stop and capture it.  Lots (and lots) of laughter on this evening!A move coming, a new baby on the way.  And wow, 3 boys plus a beautiful daughter-in-law, I felt like I was looking in to my future.  And as hard as it is to see my kids grow up, hanging out with this family makes me realize that it’s ok to look forward to seeing what awesome humans they’ll turn out to be.

Bennet was welcomed with love at home on Sunday morning.  His momma is a rock star and did so amazing!  I got the call at 10:10 am to “go now!”  I walked through the door 20 minutes later (I totally ditched Ty at the Georgetown airport during his flight lesson).  Baby boy was in her arms 15 minutes later!  The love and joy in this family was so immense and I loved seeing dad do skin to skin with his baby boy.  He missed that with their first two and he really soaked it up this time around.  And baby boy loved his herbal bath, so chill!  This family is also very bonded to their midwife, Heather Hilton of Central Texas Birth Center and it was a beautiful thing to photograph these women together.  Beautiful moments, everywhere I looked!

These two, the camera loves them.  We were blessed with gorgeous light tonight and a lot of laughs.  This big family was so fun, I didn’t even have to break out my jokes, they entertained me!
