I love photographing in home sessions, especially when it involves the precious first days of bringing your new baby home. The space instantly changes, it’s a home in a new way, the love and memories are at the very beginning and there’s something really sacred and beautiful about being invited in to that space.
One of my favorite families in front of my camera again? Yes please! This sweet little guy and his presence just seem to ease right in to the family. I absolutely love photographing 6 month old babies…they are such a joy!
These cute little love bugs like to hold hands. It’s the cutest twin thing ever! I really loved this one we caught at the end – we got super lucky that their mom had this gorgeous wrap in her bag since the grass was wet.

Sometimes, it is the in between moments that catch my breath. A quick hug from mom between photos that instantly became a fave!
Who do you think won our “who laughs the loudest” contest?! I’m just glad we were all smiling at the end. We battled rain (with no real rain in the forecast), a forgotten camera battery (thankfully it was only a few blocks away in our car, whew!), a potty break and tree climbing boo-boo. But I thumbed through their photos and all I see is love. Sweet little moments and four people who love each other so much. I’m so thankful they rolled with the punches the evening threw at us like it was no big deal at all!!
